Scene 1

At the Abbott Manor, Kyle Abbott lets Ricky Williams into his bedroom. “Why does your mom not want to tell me about my mom?” Ricky asks, clearly frustrated. “I dunno!” Kyle replies, “We were kids then. It’s not like we knew what was going on.” Ricky isn’t even listening. “Damn my boyish looks!” Ricky exclaims, “Just because I look young and naïve doesn’t mean I don’t know when I’m being lied to!” “Chillax, man,” Kyle says, Are you gonna stand there and cry or are you gonna do somethin’ about it?”

“Yeah – is your computer on?” Ricky asks. “Yeah,” Kyle replies. “Look up a lawyer named Baldwin… Michael Baldwin,” Ricky requests. “You couldn’t do this at home?” Kyle asks. “My dad was home last night,” Ricky answers, “He would have seen what I was looking up.” “Clear the history,” Kyle instructs. “I don’t have a computer in my room like you do,” Ricky says, “Ours is right by the living room.” Kyle sits down at his computer, but then gets distracted. “Hey, look at this,” Kyle notices, “My cousin Abby’s online.” “The one who’s grounded?” Ricky asks. “Yeah,” Kyle confirms, “Come on… Let’s talk to her on my webcam…” “What about finding out about my mother?” Ricky asks. Kyle’s clearly not interested. “You can do that later,” he answers, “Whatever info you’re lookin’ for isn’t gonna disappear.” “Fine,” Ricky reluctantly agrees as Kyle starts up a webcam conversation with Abby.

“Hey cuz,” Kyle greets Abby Carlton, “Long time, no see… or talk. Or whatever…” Abby is upset with him because of his fight with Noah Newman when she invited them both to the Boutique. “Whatever is going on between you and Noah, don’t you dare put me in the middle of it!” she immediately shouts to Kyle. “Woah… you need to chill too,” Kyle tells her before turning to Ricky, “She’s the only one who can talk to me like that and get away with it.” Ricky had been off-screen, so Abby didn’t know someone else was there. “Oh, we have company!” she realizes. Ricky peaks into the screen. “Yeah – hey,” “What’s up?” he greets her. “Hey! Who are you?” Abby asks.

Scene 2

That morning, Restless Style owner and editor Billy Abbott and his newest writer Scott Grainger, Jr. are hard at work. Scott approaches Billy. “Hey, how does this sound?” he asks, before reading a line that he wrote for his article, “Your underwear is more than just the first thing you put on in the morning and the last thing you take off at night. It’s the most important thing you wear all day. That’s because, while your underwear covers up a lot, it also reveals more about your personality than you may realize.”

“This is so the kind of thing Chloe would have come up with,” Billy responds. “Is that a good thing, or a bad thing?” Scott asks. “Good. Definitely good,” Billy says, “I like what you have here. But listen… this can be a lot bigger than just what you have here.” “What do you have in mind?” Scott asks. “I wanna make some last minute changes to the issue,” Billy informs Scott, “Turn this into our cover story.” “It’s not exactly earth-shattering news.” “No, but this is,” Billy says, holding up the Genoa City Chronicle article about Kyle Abbott and Noah Newman’s fight at Fenmore’s Boutique, “You got the two crown princes of the Abbott and Newman families, the upper crust of Genoa City, opposing one another. This is a feud that’s been going on all my life. People are interested in this sort of thing.” “So you’re okay with capitalizing on the scandals of your own family members?” Scott asks. “This is what’s hot right now,” Billy insists, “It ties in to your whole underwear article. The guys do the underwear ads for Fenmore’s, and they get the cover story about their fight. It’s perfect. Team Kyle. Team Noah. Add in a girl in the middle. I’m tellin’ you. Total gold…”

Scene 3

At Crimson Lights Coffee House, Phyllis Newman is telling her best friend Michael Baldwin about what happened the previous day when someone attempted to run her and her husband Nicholas Newman down. “Phyllis, you could have been killed!” Michael exclaims. “That’s the thing that I don’t get… they could have hit us at any time… if they just sped up a little,” Phyllis states, “I think whoever it was just trying to scare us.” “Oh, and that makes it any better?” “Of course not!” Phyllis replies, “I am still frightened out of my mind every day… wondering what’s gonna happen next. I’ve done lots of bad things, Michael… things that I wouldn’t want done to me or the people I love.” “Then please tell me you went to the police this time,” Michael says. “Yeah… for all the good it did,” Phyllis mutters. “So you’re no closer to finding out who’s behind this?” Michael asks.

“Nope,” Phyllis states, “What about you? Did you ever have any luck tracing the calls?” “Unidentified number, disposable phone… yadda yadda yadda,” Michael replies, “This person knows what they’re doing.”

Scene 4

Sharon Newman joins her former husband Nicholas Newman and their two children Noah Newman and Faith Newman at the Tack House. Noah’s wearing a sweater. “What are you doing, wearing that, Bud?” Nick asks, “You’re gonna sweat to death in this heat.” “I got tired of looking at all the bandages,” Noah replies, speaking of the injuries he got during a fight with Kyle Abbott. “Well, honey, you have to live with the consequences of your actions,” Sharon says. “Then, if I sweat to death, it’s my own fault,” Noah comments. He goes into the kitchen, leaving Nick and Sharon alone in the living room with Faith.

“I think he’s a little rattled still about what happened yesterday,” Nick tells Sharon. “Yeah, he told me about that,” Sharon replies, “Thank goodness he and Faith weren’t there when that… person tried to run you and Phyllis down.” “Yeah, if there’s anything to be glad about, it’s that,” Nick agrees. “I don’t know what I would have done if anything happened to any of you,” Sharon says.

Scene 5

At Restless Style, Scott runs his headline idea for the new cover story by Billy. “Okay, here it goes,” Scott begins, “’The Newman and Abbott Feud Uncovered’… how do you like it?” “Hold up,” Billy says, “Put Abbott first before Newman.” “Right,” Scott laughs. “Okay, let me start again,” Scott tells his boss, “‘The Abbott and Newman Feud Uncovered: Teenagers Kyle Abbott and Noah Newman expose the most private parts of their lives… and bodies. Only Restless Style is there to shed away the layers of the decade-old family rivalry and find out what’s really underneath the latest feud between two of Genoa City’s most prominent young citizens.” “Perfect… that’s clever. I liked the play on words you got there,” Billy comments, “Yeah, I love it.”

“There is a bit of a problem with this whole idea, though,” Scott informs Billy. “Oh, yeah? What’s that?” Billy asks. “Well, these kids are minors, right?” Scott says, “So you would need their parents’ permission to feature them in the magazine. And do you really think they’re gonna agree to something like this?” “Jack, I can get to agree,” Billy says confidently, “Nick and Sharon’ll be a little harder, but I’m sure I can convince them why it would be good for their son.”

Scene 6

Kyle and Ricky have a conversation with Abby via webcam chat. “This is my trusty sidekick, Rick,” Kyle says, pulling Ricky in closer so that they can both be seen on the webcam. “Ricky Williams,” Ricky introduces himself, holding his hand out to the web cam, “Imaginary handshake,” he jokes. Abby is amused. “Right back at ya,” she replies, holding out her hand, “So Williams -- as in Paul Williams?” she inquires. “That’s my dad,” Ricky answers. “Oh, by the way, I’m Abby Carlton,” she answers, “We’re practically related too, you know? My mom used to date your dad a long time ago…” “Really? I didn’t know that,” Ricky responds. “Yeah, and your psycho aunt was married to my uncle, and killed my sister,” Abby adds. Ricky thinks she’s joking. “Ha, that’s a good one,” he replies, “and I bet she killed your dog too.” Ironically, what he jokingly says is also true. Abby’s expression changes. “I was being serious!” she shouts. Ricky is caught off-guard and suddenly feels very guilty. “Really!? What psycho aunt?” he exclaims. “Patty! Do you have another one I don’t know about?” Abby replies. “I’m just getting used to the Williams part of the family tree,” Ricky tells her, “I didn’t know about any aunt.” “Forget I said anything, okay?” Abby says, calming down. “But did my aunt really murder your sister?” Ricky wants to confirm. “Partly,” Abby clarifies. “Sorry,” Ricky whispers, not sure what else to say. “I don’t blame you for it, though,” Abby tells him, “It’s not your fault your family is screwed up. Our family’s screwed up too. All of our parents are. And they wonder why we turned out like we did.” “Oh, Rick’s not a rebel like us,” Kyle informs her, “He always does exactly what Daddy says. I bet Daddy picks his clothes out and tucks him in at night too…” “He does not!” Ricky protests, “Man, you can be a real jerk sometimes.” “Come on, Rick. It was just a joke,” Kyle insists, “You really need to grow a pair. Get a sense of humor or something.” “Don’t listen to Kyle…,” Abby says, “I think you’re cute the way you are…” Ricky’s face turns a little red.

Suddenly, Abby hears footsteps. “Someone’s coming,” she announces, “I better go.” She logs off of the webcam chat before either Kyle or Ricky can say anything. Ricky turns to Kyle. “Do you really think she thinks I’m cute?” he asks. “Believe me, cute is not a compliment,” Kyle explains, “You do not wanna be seen as cute. Cute is the same as pathetic.” “No, cute is the same as attractive,” Ricky insists. Kyle smirks. “Oh, you still have so much to learn, Young One,” he tells Ricky, “So much to learn…”

Scene 7

Victor knocks on Abby’s door and comes inside. “Where were those voices coming from?” he inquires. “Oh, I was on my webcam,” Abby answers. “Who were you talking to?” Victor follows up. “I have a feeling, if I told you, you’d get mad,” Abby decides. “Ryder Callahan?” Victor asks point-blank. “No,” Abby replies, leaving out that she called him earlier, “My cousin Kyle, who you’ll probably forbid me from talking to too. Because of what happened with Noah…” “I don’t like that punk anymore than I like your two obnoxious uncles,” Victor admits, “but you are an Abbott after all too, so I can’t stop you from talking to him.” “Thank you,” Abby says quietly, glad that he didn’t start an argument. “I thought I heard another voice,” Victor states. “That was, uh, Ricky,” Abby adds, “Paul’s son.” “Paul Williams?” Victor asks. “Yep,” Abby confirms. “Well, I’ll be damned,” Victor says, “Everybody’s long lost sons are coming back to Genoa City.” Abby nods. “Nice boy?” Victor inquires. “Yeah, so far,” Abby says with a smile, “I mean… I like him a lot.” “Hmm,” Victor nods, “How about that?”

Scene 8

Billy and Scott go to the Abbott Manor to talk to Jack Abbott, Diane Jenkins, and Kyle Abbott about his idea to have Kyle appear in Restless Style. “There’s the ultimate fighting champ,” Billy jokes when he sees Kyle. “Don’t encourage him,” Jack warns his half-brother. “Bad nephew. Shame on you,” Billy replies in a non-serious way, “You told me you were gonna stay out of trouble… but like a good uncle, I’m here to make your problems go away.” “What are you talking about?” Diane inquires. “Well, before the whole brawl at the Boutique happened, Abby had suggested using Kyle and Noah in Fenmores’ new ads for Restless Style,” Billy explains, “Lauren was onboard with the idea.” “And you still wanna go through with it even after what happened?” Jack questions. “Not only do I want to go through with it, but I want to interview Kyle about his fight with Noah as part of the cover story,” Billy announces. “Wow. You have a lot of nerve,” Jack states, “Using our family feud to try and sell magazines.” “Nothin’ I didn’t learn from you,” Billy fires back. Jack knows it’s true. “I’ll do it,” Kyle states without reservation, “I’ll take any opportunity to bash that loser, Noah.” “You’re not gonna be bashing Noah,” Jack shoots him down, “because the story is not happening.”

“Diane…?” Jack asks for her opinion when she doesn’t say anything. “Well, you wanted Kyle to be responsible for all the damages that he caused,” she reminds Jack, “The money would cover it and then he’d be off the hook.” “See. She agrees with me,” Kyle jumps in, “and I really don’t care what you think, Jack.” “You’re not helping your case right now,” Jack states, “If I don’t want you in this magazine, you’re not in it.” “Jack, come on,” Billy tries to convince his brother, “It’s not like I’m gonna publish something that trashes and embarrasses our family… and Scott here’s writing the story. He’ll do a good job.”

Jack turns to Kyle and sighs. “You can do the Fenmore’s ad, but not the interview,” he states. “Both, or I refuse to do b**** work at the Coffee House for the Silver Chipmunk,” Kyle bargains. “You’re working for the Chipmunk?” Billy asks, surprised. “That was my way for Kyle to make up for what he did to Kevin and Lauren’s businesses,” Jack explains, “Instead, you just want to plaster him in magazines around the country. You don’t care how much more damage it will do to Noah if you run with this cover story.” “Like any real journalist would, I’m giving Noah the opportunity to comment,” Billy states. “If Noah’s being interviewed, then so am I,” Kyle insists. Jack relents. “Look… you can do the ad and the cover story,” Jack relents, “but you’re not getting out of working at the Coffee House. I still believe that you need to work off the damages that you caused. Just because you’re doing this magazine appearance, it does not resolve you of your other responsibility.” Kyle makes a face. “That’s my final offer,” Jack states, “Diane, do you support me on this?” “It’s a fair compromise, Kyle,” Diane tells her son, “Take it or leave it.” “Fine,” Kyle says, rolling his eyes. Billy smiles, realizing that he’ll get his story.

Scene 9

Phyllis and Michael continue their conversation. “Have you even told Nick that all of these things are related to events in your past?” “Things that you’ve done to other people?” “Not other people… just Christine,” Phyllis answers, having a bit of a realization. “You did this to Christine?” Michael asks, “You tried to run her over.” “I didn’t just try, Michael. I succeeded,” Phyllis admits, “You know she wasn’t one of my favorite people, but oh, God, I feel horrible now.” She is getting teary-eyed. “I’m not judging you,” Michael tells his friend, “After all, I practically raped the woman.” “That’s what I mean… the Michael that I know today is a loving family man. We are different people now, Michael. Why does this have to happen now?”

“We haven’t been in touch,” Michael admits. “Can you be?” Phyllis asks. “You want me to call her?” Michael clarifies, picking up on Phyllis’s subtle suggestion. “Yeah, I do, actually,” Phyllis replies. “You are not seriously accusing Christine of being behind this?” Michael says in disbelief, “That’s ridiculous! Christine would never use a little girl the way that this person used Summer…” “Because she’s so sweet and innocent. Just like Sharon, right?” Phyllis responds. “Because that’s not the kind of person that she is!” Michael insists. “Just call her… please,” Phyllis requests again. Michael sighs, and then gives in to Phyllis. He pulls out his cell phone and calls his former fiancée, Christine Blair…

Scene 10

Victor and Nikki Newman let Roseanne Ryerson inside the Main House on the Newman Ranch. They convene in the living room for their interview about the custody battle over their grandchild, Reed Hellstrom. “Thank you very much for meeting with me,” Roseanne says politely. “Please… have a seat,” Victor instructs, “I’m sorry about the mix-up with our schedules. Thanks for agreeing to come to the Ranch instead.” “Oh, that works out just fine for me,” Roseanne replies, “Shall we begin?”

[Alternating clips of Victor and Nikki’s separate interviews with Roseanne].

-“Well, let me tell you upfront that I think this whole idea of a custody case is utterly ridiculous,” Victor states.

-“I mean no disrespect. I’m sure your services are… well, useful, in cases where they are actually needed,” Nikki adds, sounding somewhat condescending, “But this isn’t one of them…”

-“There’s no allegations of abuse involved, neglect. Or drugs or alcohol, any of that. Victoria poses no threat to Reed,” Victor continues, “She’s a wonderful mother… This is simply a case of a vindictive ex-husband who’s out for revenge.”

-“Convince me of that, Mr. Newman,” Roseanne says, “I want to hear some supporting evidence.”

Scene 11

Billy has just given Sharon, Nick, and Noah his pitch for having Noah appear in Restless Style. Scott is also present. “You really expect us to let our son be featured in your sleazy rag?” Nick asks in disbelief. “It used to be your sleazy rag,” Billy remarks with a smirk. “You’re really wearing out your welcome, Abbott,” Nick warns him. “No, look… all I want from you, Noah, is to take a couple photos for our ads and for you to tell me your side of what went down with Kyle… at the Coffee House and at Fenmore’s.” “You know what? We’re not gonna say no,” Sharon announces, “We’re gonna leave it up to Noah. But I think he’s smart enough to realize all the damage that your articles have done to this family in the past, and I’m sure he doesn’t want to be any part of that … Right, Noah?” Sharon seems unconvinced. “You don’t have to do this if you don’t want to,” Nick adds, obviously urging his son to decline Billy’s offer. “Eden won’t like it if I’m in the magazine,” Noah realizes, “But if I don’t, Kyle will do it and he’ll just use it as an opportunity to make me look even worse.” “We’ll sue for slander,” Nick states. “No, because I’ll tell my side of the story,” Noah agrees.

Scene 12

Roseanne continues to [separately] interview Nikki and Victor. Alternating clips from each of their interviews are shown:

-“Well, that’s the way the world works today… mothers, they don’t just stay home and cook and clean,” Nikki says, “They have jobs, lives, but that doesn’t make them any less responsible or caring or loving than a mother that stays at home.”

-“When Victoria first decided to come back to work at Newman Enterprises, she brought Reed with her everyday. We set up a little nursery in her office so that she could be close to her son. Because that’s the kind of mother that she is… she always put her son first,” Victor explains, “She always made herself available to take care of him, so that whenever he needed anything, she was right there. And I allowed my daughter to bring my grandson in to work because that’s the kind of family we are. Reed is surrounded by a loving extended family on his mother’s side, and you can’t say the same for JT Hellstrom…”

-“You probably didn’t know this, but Victoria lost a baby once before,” Nikki reveals, “Her name was Eve, and she died at birth… I also know what it’s like, from experience, and I can tell you that when you suffer that kind of loss, as a parent, you know how precious it is to have a child. That’s why I know how much Victoria cherishes her job as a mother to Reed above anything else.”

-“I can’t even begin to tell you the joy that Reed has brought into Victoria’s life,” Victor states.

“Before Reed was born, when Victoria was in a coma, I went to court because I knew how much it meant for Victoria to be a mother. JT wanted to deliver the baby in order to save Victoria, but I knew that Victoria would never have agreed to that,” Nikki explains, “I don’t know if you have children, but there’s a special kind of bond that a mother has to a child because it grows inside of her for nine months. And Victoria -- she’s already lost so much time with her son, Reed. It just isn’t fair to make her lose any more.”

Roseanne considers what they both have to say. “That’ll be all for today…,” she finally says, “Thank you.”

Scene 13

Michael has been on the phone with Christine. Their conversation is nearing its end. Michael paces around on the patio while Phyllis sits at the table. “Alright, nice to talk to you too,” Michael says to Christine, “I’ll talk to you later… okay, bye.” Michael hangs up the phone and turns to Phyllis. “Christine’s no where near Genoa City,” he announces, “Believe me, you are the last person on her mind right now…” “You’re sure?” Phyllis double-checks. “Yes,” Michael states, “Whatever’s happening to you… Christine is in no way responsible for it.” “Then who is?” Phyllis asks. “Think,” Michael says, “What other women have you crossed in your lifetime?” “A lot,” Phyllis admits.

“You never answered my question before…,” Michael recalls, “Have you even told Nick that someone is doing the same things to you that you did to Christine in the past?” “I’m working on it,” Phyllis replies evasively, “I just… haven’t found the right time yet…” “You have to tell him,” Michael urges her, “You cannot live with that kind of secret.” “I know,” Phyllis agrees. “Then tell him,” Michael repeats, stressing every word. “I will,” Phyllis nods in agreement, “I’ll tell him as soon as we’re at home.”

Scene 14

Sharon and Nick react to Noah’s decision to be in Restless Style. Billy is thrilled. Scott is still with him. Sharon had obviously been hoping Noah would say no, as well. “It’s already been in the local paper,” she reminds Noah, “Are you sure you want to take this fight with Kyle national?” “Yes, he’s sure,” Billy answers for Noah, as he reveals a contract form for Nick and Sharon, “So if you’ll just sign right here…” “Hold on,” Nick interrupts Billy, “Son… think about this. Do you really wanna let this slimeball use you to make a profit?” “He’ll be well-compensated,” Billy adds. “Shut up,” Nick snaps. “Okay,” Billy replies, as he backs away. “Yes, I said I’ll do the magazine,” Noah repeats to Nick, “I don’t care that Billy profits from it. I just want to be able to say what really happened.” “And you know, technically, we could stop you from doing the magazine if we wanted to?” Sharon double-checks. “Yes, but you just said it was my choice,” Noah responds. “Okay. Then, if being in this magazine is what you want, we’ll support you,” Sharon states, “Right, Nicholas?” “No funny business,” Nick warns Billy, “You tell both sides of the story… don’t butcher what my son says or misquote him to favor Kyle.” “I hear ya,” Billy agrees. “I’m writing the article, and I’ll be very fair,” Scott adds. Nick turns back to Billy. “If you use this article for any kind of slam piece against Noah or any of my family, I’ll find a way to shut you down,” Nick threatens again, “and I’m not kidding around this time.” “Hmmm, easier than I thought,” Billy whispers to Scott as he hands Nick and Sharon the agreement to sign.

“Why don’t you go get changed so we can have our photo shoot?” Billy says to Noah. “Today?” Noah asks, “Right now?” “Yeah, you don’t have any problem posing in your underwear, do you, Sport?” Billy asks Noah. “I have bandages all over my arms,” Noah states, “Why do you think I’m wearing long sleeves in the middle of summer?” “Oh come on. It gives you character,” Billy encourages Noah, “Chicks dig scars… Now go on. Let’s get this photo shoot on the road.” Nick and Sharon both exchange worried and confused glances with one another.

Scene 15

Victor and Nikki remain in the living room after Roseanne leaves. “Uh, I’m glad that’s over with,” Nikki comments, “How much more of this does Victoria have to be put through?” “Sweetheart, we told that woman exactly why Victoria should be given custody of Reed,” Victor says, “Everything we said was true. Now, if she knows what she’s doing, she’ll listen to us and give Victoria her son… Let’s not worry about it until the time comes, alright?” Nikki nods. “I think you have another daughter to be worried about right now anyway,” she says.

“Actually, Ashley and I have decided to give her a little bit of her freedom back,” Victor reveals. “Oh, yeah? So that’s why I thought I heard her on her phone earlier?” Nikki asks. “Her webcam,” Victor says, “Apparently, she talked earlier to Paul’s son, Ricky… he’s back in Genoa City. Did you know that?” “No, I didn’t,” Nikki answers, “Which means, I probably should catch up with Paul really soon.” “There’ something I have to go do, as well,” Victor states, “Actually, it was something you said to me… a while back… when we were talking about Abby, that pretty soon she would be interested in someone else and she’d forget all about that pathetic Ryder Callahan…” “I don’t understand,” Nikki replies out of confusion. “Darling, all you need to know is you’re a genius.” “That I already know,” Nikki jokes. Victor prepares to leave. “I could just kiss you,” he says. “Please do,” Nikki replies playfully. “Later,” Victor tells her. “Where are you going?” Nikki inquires. “I’ll be back soon,” Victor informs her as he heads out the door.

Scene 16

Phyllis has returned to an empty Tack House [Nick and Sharon have taken Faith for a walk and Noah went to get ready for the photo shoot]. There’s a knock on the door. Phyllis answers it and sees Roseanne. She doesn’t know who it is. “Do I know you? How did you get on this property?” Phyllis asks frantically. “I’m Roseanne Ryerson,” she introduces herself, “We spoke on the phone yesterday.” “Oh, I’m sorry,” Phyllis apologizes, “That’s right… I remember. I’m just a little edgy today… Believe me, I’m not usually like this.” “We all have our off-days,” Roseanne replies, “I just came from your in-laws and I thought I’d drop in and see if we could set up an interview for you and your husband… But I can see it’s not a good time. So I’ll come back.” Phyllis nods. “I promise I’ll give you a call, and set something up,” she says. “I look forward to it,” Roseanne says. Phyllis suddenly gets a chill.

“Oh, here. Before I forget, this was left on your front step,” Roseanne informs Phyllis as she hands her an envelope, “Almost didn’t see it. But maybe this’ll cheer you up” The envelope has a shoeprint on it from where Roseanne stepped on it. It also has Phyllis’s name written on it. “Thanks,” Phyllis whispers as she takes the envelope from Roseanne. She’s immediately apprehensive about opening it.

Roseanne leaves and Phyllis reluctantly opens the envelope. An old piece of newsprint falls out. Phyllis picks it up and flips it over. It’s a clipping of an old newspaper article about Phyllis’s former friend and co-worker Sasha Green being killed in a fire. Phyllis had been the last person to see her alive and had a violent confrontation with her when Sasha threatened to expose Daniel’s paternity.

A distraught Phyllis flashes back to her recent conversation with Diane. “At least I was never declared an unfit mother,” Diane had said to taunt her. “At least I’ve never burned down someone’s house to get what I want,” Phyllis had retorted. “If you continue to challenge me, you will go down in flames, Phyllis,” Diane had threatened, “Don’t forget that.” Now Phyllis thinks Diane is responsible for the letter. “Diane… that b****,” she says aloud.

Scene 17

Nick and Sharon have taken Faith on a walk around the Newman grounds while Noah is off getting ready for the photo shoot. “Are you sure we made the right decision?” Sharon questions Nick. “Our son, an underwear model?” “Yeah, I would have loved to have an opportunity like that when I was his age,” Nick confesses, “Being on bedroom and dorm room walls across the country.” “It’s the whole cover story thing I’m worried about,” Sharon admits, “I mean… this could fuel even more animosity between Noah and Kyle… between the Newmans and the Abbotts if it makes your father and Jack get involved. “Or Noah and Kyle can do the interview, get all their feelings out, and then move on from it,” Nick suggests, deciding to take a more optimistic approach. “Do you really think so?” Sharon asks. “I dunno,” Nick admits, “I mean, I don’t like this any more than you do. But Noah made his decision, and I’m trying to look at it positively. That was your idea, you know.” “I know,” Sharon nods, somewhat regretful.

“How do you think your father’s gonna react though?” Sharon asks Nick, “You know what he did when Victoria posed for that centrefold years ago…” “Yeah, he hunted down all the magazines and had them destroyed,” Nick recalls. “But this is different,” Sharon decides. “Yeah, it’s different,” Nick agrees, “Although my father might still hunt down Billy.” They both laugh at the thought.

Scene 18

Phyllis bangs frantically on the front door of the Abbott Manor. “Hold on! I’m coming!” Diane shouts as she heads to the door. As she opens it, Phyllis immediately lets herself inside. “It’s you, isn’t it? You’re the one who’s been stalking me!” Phyllis shouts, “Where were you earlier?” Diane is caught of-guard. “Phyllis, you were always crazy, but you are positively off your rocker,” she says calmly, “I have no idea what you’re talking about. I haven’t been stalking anybody, especially not you. Why would I even do that?”

“You wore a red wig before when you tried to frame me for burning down the pool house,” Phyllis remembers, “Some woman with red hair manipulated my daughter into doing something very upsetting to me.” “Oh, that’s right! You have a daughter now… with Nick Newman,” Diane replies, changing the subject, “You know, I’ve never understood what that man sees in you.” “At least I’m happily married,” Phyllis retorts, “Unlike you, who’s so pathetic trying to get your hooks into a man that you’ve lost about three times already.”

“Phyllis, just stay out of mine and Jack’s business,” Diane orders. “Look at you… speaking about the two of you as if you’re actually an item again,” Phyllis says, “Read my lips: Never gonna happen.” “Read my lips: Get the hell out of here before I call security,” Diane shouts. “I said all I’ve come to say,” Phyllis informs Diane, “This time, I’m warning you. If I find out you’ve had anything to do with any of the things that have happened to me lately, you’ll wish you never came back to Genoa City.”

Scene 19

Jack stares at a picture of his deceased father, John Abbott Sr. “Pop… I can’t believe you’ve been gone four years now,” he states, “I could really use your advice. If anyone would know what to do about Kyle, it’s you.”

“I feel like we’re giving in to this kid just to avoid causing a confrontation with him,” Jack continues, “We know we shouldn’t, but it’s just easier than having to deal with an angry teenager. But Diane brought him here so that I could help him, and I think I’m just making things worse. My son… he’s out of control… there’s no denying that. He’s out of control, and I don’t know… how to fix it…”

Scene 20

Kyle sends ‘Sully’ a text message: ‘Pool house. ASAP. Worth your while.’

Scene 21

Noah is talking to Abby on the phone. “I’m about to do the photo shoot now,” he says. “When my idea makes you famous, you owe me big,” Abby tells her cousin. “Well, believe me, this was the last thing I was expecting,” Noah admits, “but I’m gonna roll with it. See where it takes me.” “That’s no way to live,” Abby comments, “I like to be in control of my life. And even though I’m still stuck in my room, I’m using what little freedom I have to make sure I get what I want when I get out of here…”

Scene 22

Ricky returns back to Paul’s Apartment. “Dad, I’m home!” He calls out. Realizing that Paul isn’t home, he immediately heads to the computer, which was left on. He types ‘Michael Baldwin’ ‘Genoa City’ into the search engine, and as the results load, he checks his Facebook page.

Abby has added Ricky as a Facebook friend. He reads the message she sent along with her request: “Hey cutie,” he says aloud, “Looking forward to meeting you in person one of these days. Call me. xo.” He smirks and clicks ‘Accept.’

Suddenly, there’s a knock on the door. Ricky answers the door and sees an imposing figure standing in front of him. It’s Victor, and he has a look on his face that shows he means business…
