Scene 1

On the patio of Crimson Lights Coffee House, Dr. Brian Hamilton has just seen his former girlfriend Phyllis Newman for the first time in more than a decade. He approaches her and says hello. Phyllis is stunned and speechless. “I just said hello,” Brian says, “The least you can do is say hi back.” Phyllis glances around to make sure no one is watching and then replies, “Brian? What the hell are you doing here!?” It’s not the response he was looking for…

Scene 2

Kyle Abbott arrives at Paul Williams’ Apartment to see Paul’s son, Ricky Williams. He knocks on the door and Ricky answers. “Hey! I was just about to come to your place,” Ricky says. Kyle quickly ushers Ricky out into the corridor and they talk quietly out in the hall. “I know, but there’s been a change of plans…,” Kyle announces, “We need to make my parents think that I’m staying here, and your dad think you’re staying with me. If we can pull it off, we’ll have the whole Abbott place… the mansion, the pool… everything to ourselves for the next three days…”

Scene 3

Noah Newman and his girlfriend Eden Gerick are talking to each other on the phone. “Good news,” Noah announces, “The pool party is back on!” Eden is excited. “How in the world did you manage that?” she inquires. “I talked to my granddad. He said it was okay,” Noah answers, “Turns out he wasn’t as upset about my fight with Kyle as I thought he’d be. He even said he’d give me boxing lessons so that I could be the one to knock him out next time.” “But there’s not gonna be a next time, right?” Eden asks. “That’s up to him,” Noah admits, “If he can stay out of my way, then we’ll have no problems. But if he continues to come after me, I’m not gonna sit back and do nothing.”

Scene 4

Lily Winters goes to Fenmore’s Boutique to speak with Roxanne Porter, her brother’s girlfriend, who works there. “Hey, Roxy… what’s going on?” Lily asks, a concerned tone to her voice, “When you called, you sounded so upset…” Roxanne gets right to the point: “Have you heard anything from Devon?” she demands, “I’m going out of my mind with worry.” Lily is confused. “Worry that something might have happened to him?” she asks. “No,” Roxanne replies, “Worry that he’s cheating on me again… with Tyra…”

Scene 5

At the Athletic Club, Neil Winters and Alex Perez continue their lunch date. They’re deep in conversation about their personal lives and Neil shares some tragic news with Alex. “Unfortunately, my wife Drucilla passed away three years ago,” Neil reveals, “Well, she’s presumed dead. She was never found after she, um… there was an accident at a photo shoot on top of a cliff.” Alex realizes what Neil’s trying to say. “Oh, Neil, that’s terrible,” she says sincerely, “I’m so sorry.” “Thank you,” Neil replies softly. “I bet it was hard for you to accept… your wife being gone, given what happened to Malcolm,” Alex infers, “and how he came back we thought he was dead for so many years.” “There’s not a day that goes by – not one – that I don’t think for a moment… What if? What if she was found alive somewhere and she came back, but then I have to realize it’s not realistic… I mean, where could she have been this whole time that no one would have found her? And people go missing in that river every year and their bodies are never found…” A moment of silence goes by as Alex searches for what to say next.

“So have you been seeing anyone, you know, since your wife?” she inquires. “Currently, no,” Neil admits, “but in the past, I’ve dated occasionally. Actually, I re-married briefly, but I made a lot of mistakes and it didn’t last… I think I wanted to be over Dru so bad that I thought if I married someone else and tried to start a new life it would help. But I knew subconsciously that it wasn’t right…” Alex nods her head as Neil continues to talk. “And now I’m just coming off another relationship…,” he tells her, “It wasn’t serious but we decided just to be friends.” “That’s happened to me more than once,” Alex comments. “Yeah. And that’s the thing – they’re great women… all of them,” Neil says, “Beautiful, smart, intelligent, caring…, but they’re just not the one for me.” “Because they’re not Drucilla,” Alex finishes his thought. “No, they’re not,” Neil agrees, “You know, if there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s that there’s life after Drucilla, but they’ll never be that same kind of love that I shared with her.” “Don’t be so sure,” Alex says optimistically. They both smile at each other, and Neil almost believes her. Almost…

Scene 6

At Fenmore’s Boutique, Lily responds to Roxanne’s admission that she is still worried about Devon staying with Tyra Hamilton in Seattle. “I thought we talked about this, Roxy,” she begins, “I thought you realized that nothing was going to happen between Devon and Tyra. It was a mistake that they both regret and they’ve moved past it.” “But Tyra… she’s just not the kind of woman that does well without a man in her life,” Roxanne rationalizes her insecurities, “Look how she went after both Neil and Devon, even though she knew that Neil was with Karen and Devon was with me. Who’s to say she won’t do that again?” “I’m not trying to defend her, but I really don’t think she meant for it to happen the way it did,” Lily says. “Well, if she didn’t, then that makes me even more worried,” Roxanne confesses, “Sometimes things just happen when two people are alone together… it’s not premeditated…”

Scene 7

In Seattle, Devon Hamilton Winters is helping Tyra Hamilton move into her new home. He’s carrying a stack of heavy boxes. “Where do you want these boxes?” he asks Tyra. She takes a quick look around. “Oh, um… just on the floor over there,” she replies, pointing to an area in the corner of the living room. Devon drops the boxes, and wipes the sweat from his forehead. “This is gonna be a great place,” he states. “Yeah, we’ve been moving around so much these past few years, it’s about time that Ana finally got a real home,” Tyra says, “I mean, it feels great to get out of that small apartment and have a nice house with a backyard… and a garage… and two bedrooms so that Ana doesn’t have to share a room with me anymore…” Devon chuckles. “I’m sure she’ll appreciate that,” he comments, “So, um… do you want me to bring in the rest of your stuff, or what?” “You know what, Devon? I think you deserve a rest,” Tyra tells him, “Why don’t you have a seat on the couch here and I’ll go get us some lemonade?”

Scene 8

Ricky and Kyle continue to talk out in the hallway outside of the Williams Apartment. “Who’s at the door?” Paul Williams inquires. He peaks outside. “Yo,” Kyle says. “Kyle,” Paul acknowledges him. They head inside.

“So Kyle’s parents said I could stay with them for the next few days,” Ricky lies, going along with Kyle’s plan. Kyle is behind Paul, nodding his head and giving Ricky a thumb’s up for lying. “I’m still gonna have to give them a call,” Paul replies. “You don’t trust me?” Ricky questions. “More like he doesn’t trust me,” Kyle realizes, “Because I’m such a little devil child, right?” “Well, I wouldn’t quite go that far,” Paul responds, “But I have to admit, I’ve had some questions about you spending time with my son... especially in light of your actions at Fenmore’s Boutique.”

Kyle prepares to do a pitch. “Paul. Your name’s Paul, right?” he asks. Paul is surprisingly amused at Kyle’s audacity. “Most people your age call me Mr. Williams, but go on,” he replies, with a smirk. “Well, so anyway, Paul, see… I tried to corrupt Rick,” he states, “I tried. Really hard too. But this kid can’t take a hint. So you got nothin’ to worry about. We’re just gonna be two guys stayin’ up late, watching movies, playing video games. And actually, we can’t even stay up late because Jack… he keeps me on a tight leash. He doesn’t let me stay up past midnight and I have to be up practically with the sun. And I have to do chores too… I had to clean out the pool yesterday…” “Yeah, see. And since Kyle’s dad isn’t working right now, we’ll have plenty of supervision,” Ricky adds, “So can I stay at Kyle’s?” Paul gives in: “I better not regret this,” he says. Kyle and Ricky both each other a look of satisfaction, knowing that the first part of their plan has worked.

Scene 9

Lily enters the Coffee House. When she’s at the counter to get a coffee, her ex-husband Daniel Romalotti, Jr. comes up behind her. “It’s on me,” Daniel offers. Lily turns around. “Why, thank you,” she replies with a smile. They hug. “Good to see you out and about again,” Daniel tells her. “Yeah, I just decided one day… I have so much to be grateful for, and I’m not gonna stay in bed, feeling sorry for myself, just because my husband got deported back to Australia,” Lily explains. “That’s, uh, definitely the right attitude to have,” Daniel comments, “A lot of people in your position wouldn’t be so strong. Or so pretty… is that your natural hair I see coming back in?” “Yes, it sure is!” Lily announces proudly, “This is the first day I’ve stopped wearing a wig.” “Baby, I’m so proud of you,” Daniel says, “You’re an inspiration.” “Thank you… for what you said, and for the coffee,” Lily replies, a big smile on her face. She grabs her coffee off the counter. “Um, I better go,” she announces, “I’m meeting my dad at the club…” Daniel nods. “Okay,” he says, “But, um, hey, Lily? If you ever need anything… at all, day or night, don’t be afraid to come to me, okay?” “Thanks,” Lily replies softly. “And let’s get together again soon and catch up, okay?” Daniel suggests. “Yeah, I’ll call you some time,” Lily tells him. “Don’t wait too long,” Daniel replies.

As Lily leaves the Coffee House through the front door, Daniel looks out the back door and sees Phyllis talking to a middle-aged man, who he doesn’t know is Brian.

Scene 10

Phyllis and Brian continue their conversation out on the patio of the Coffee House. “I have a job here… as a doctor,” Brian informs Phyllis in order to justify being back in Genoa City. “I’m a neurologist now. I’ve turned my life around.” “So have I,” Phyllis claims, “No thanks to you.” “I get the feeling you’re not happy to see me,” Brian states the obvious, “For what it’s worth, I think you look great.” “Shut up,” Phyllis snaps, “Of course, I’m not happy to see you. You tried to wreck my life. You helped Danny and Christine take my son away from me. And you’re trying to ruin me all over again, aren’t you?” Brian is confused by Phyllis’s comment. “What’re you talking about?” he demands. “Are you really gonna stand there and tell me it’s a coincidence that you’re back in town and someone left me an old article about Sasha Green?” Phyllis asks, obviously accusing Brian of being responsible.

“What do you mean, someone ‘left’ you an article about Sasha?” Brian asks. “The latest in a string of events,” Phyllis tells him. “Phyllis, I give you my word that I’m in no way involved in what’s been happening to you,” Brian assures her, “and that is the God’s honest truth.” “Then it was your accomplice, wasn’t it?” Phyllis says, “The one that got my daughter to do her dirty work and put a dead eel in my bed. Which one of you tried to run down me and my husband yesterday when we were on a picnic?” “Not me!” Brian repeats, before he realizes what Phyllis had just said, “You’re married now… with a daughter? That’s great, Phyllis.” “It’s also none of your business,” Phyllis retorts. “You know what is my business…,” Brian says, “Our son.” “He’s not your son!” Phyllis snaps, “Don’t you call him your son. He’s my son!” “Well, where is he?” Brian asks, “Did you ever get to see him again?” “I just said he’s none of your business!” Phyllis shouts, “Now, I want you to get out of here. Now.”

“Everything alright out here?” a voice interrupts. It’s Daniel. “Daniel…,” Phyllis whispers, without realizing that she clued Brian in that this was his son standing in front of him. “Who are you?” Daniel asks Brian. “I’m an old friend of your mom’s,” Brian answers vaguely, not giving himself away.

Scene 11

Out on the Coffee House patio, Daniel joins Phyllis and Brian at their table. “So how do you two know each other?” he asks them. “We knew each other when we lived in New York,” Phyllis mutters, “but that was a long time ago.” “Yeah, years ago,” Brian echoes. “Before you were even born,” Phyllis adds, to throw Daniel off-track.

“On that note, I think I better go,” Brian says, “Nice seeing you, Phyllis… Daniel, nice to meet you.” “Yeah, you too…,” Daniel replies quietly. Phyllis looks uncomfortable as she watches the two of them shake hands. After all, Brian Hamilton is Daniel’s long-absent biological father, something that Daniel has no idea about.

Daniel sits down in Brian’s seat. “Are you okay?” he asks Phyllis, “Who was that guy? Did he say something to upset you?” Phyllis shakes her head. “It wasn’t him,” she answers, “I was just surprised to see him after so many years… that’s all.” Daniel is skeptical. “Are you sure?” he questions, “Because you are white as a ghost and you’re really not sounding like yourself,” “It’s just… it’s a lot more than you know,” Phyllis admits, “Remember when I made you find that picture of Daisy because I thought she had done something to me?” “Yeah, the eel thing, right?” Daniel recalls. “Yeah, the ‘eel thing,’” Phyllis repeats, “Well… listen, it’s gotten a thousand times worse than that since then, and it’s all because of me.” “What do you mean by that?” Daniel inquires, “Why don’t we go someplace else and talk?”

Scene 12

Noah and Eden meet up at the Coffee House. “So when is this pool party anyway?” Eden questions. “The day after tomorrow,” Noah informs her, “which sucks for me since I’m still not supposed to get my bandages wet.” “We’ll find some way to work around that,” Eden assures him, “Do you want me to come up with a guest list and make the calls for you?” “I’ve invited a few people already,” Noah tells her, “Just some kids from school… No one you wouldn’t approve of.” “What about Lucas?” Eden asks. “Lucas Taylor?” Noah questions. “Yeah… I thought you two used to be friends,” Eden answers. “When we were in grade school,” Noah replies, “That was before he turned into a dumb jock.” “So do I invite him or not?” Eden wants to know. “As long as I don’t have to talk to him,” Noah permits.

Then, Scott Grainger, Jr. walks in to the Coffee House. “There’s my queue,” Noah says, referring to the fact that Scott is interviewing him for the Restless Style cover story. Eden is unaware of this. “For what?” she asks. “Um, don’t ask,” Noah replies evasively. Scott approaches them. “Hey, Eden, Noah,” he greets them. “Hey… Where do you want me?” Noah asks. “Um, just let me grab a coffee and then we’ll go out to the patio,” Scott answers. “Sure,” Noah agrees. He turns to Eden: “I’m gonna go spill my guts out about Kyle… and I know this goes without saying, but he is definitely not invited to my pool party.” Then, he heads out to the patio for his interview with Scott.

Scene 13

At the Williams Apartment, Kyle and Ricky are trying to trick their Paul and Jack Abbott into agreeing to let them stay at the other one’s house so that they can both be home alone while their parents are away. Kyle dials Jack’s phone number. Jack picks up. “Jack, tell Paul that me and Rick can stay together,” Kyle orders and he hands the phone over to Paul before Jack can respond. Kyle strategically leaves out where he is supposed to be staying. [Jack assumes that Kyle and Ricky are staying at Paul’s and Paul assumes that Kyle and Ricky are staying at Jack’s.]

“Hi Jack…,” Paul says, “Listen, Kyle and Ricky floated the idea of them staying together for a couple of days, and I told them it was alright with me.” “Yeah. I was just about to call you about that,” Jack replies, “Kyle mentioned it to me too. And I know it’s last-minute, but I’m glad to hear it works out for you.” “I mean… I think they can pretty much take care of themselves anyway,” Paul says, “but as long as there’s an adult staying with them, I think they’ll be okay.” “Yeah, exactly,” Jack agrees. “Look… I’m sorry, I’m getting another call,” Paul tells Jack, “We probably should discuss this some more though.” “Why don’t you just give all the details to Kyle and he can relay them to me?” Jack suggests, “If there’s anything I don’t agree with, then I’ll let you know.” “Alright, I’ll do that,” Paul agrees. “Thanks,” Jack says.

Paul answers the other call, which is work-related, and says he’ll call back later. He hangs up and turns to Ricky and Kyle, who are trying to contain their excitement. “I really have to go pack,” he says. Kyle stands up. “I have my Restless Style interview at the Coffee House,” he says. “I’ll come with you,” Ricky volunteers. “You guys make the arrangements for tomorrow,” Paul tells them, “Let me know if you need me to drop you off at Kyle’s in the morning when I leave for the airport.” “Will do,” Ricky replies. He and Kyle can’t get out of the apartment fast enough.

As they leave the apartment, they take a moment to celebrate in the hallway of the complex. “Dude, this is gonna be killer! I can’t believe we pulled that off!” Kyle cheers, “We’re gonna have so much fun. No parents for three whole days…”

Scene 14

Lily has just arrived at the Athletic Club now and she approaches Neil and Alex’s table. “Hey, baby girl!” Neil says. He hugs her and gives her a kiss on the cheek. “I want you to meet someone,” he tells her, before introducing her to Alex, “This is my daughter, Lily.” “Wow! I remember seeing pictures of you when you were little, but you are so beautiful in person,” Alex comments. “Thank you,” Lily replies. “Oh, by the way, I’m Alex,” she says. “Alex and I used to work together at Newman Enterprises,” Neil explains. “A long time ago,” Alex clarifies. “When you lived in Paris with your mom,” Neil adds. Lily suddenly remembers something. “You said your name was Alex?” she asks. “That’s right,” Alex confirms, “Alex Perez.” Lily recognizes the name. “You’re not Uncle Malcolm’s Alex, are you?” she inquires.

Scene 15

While Noah is on the patio of the Coffee House, being interviewed by Scott, Eden waits inside. Suddenly, Kyle and Ricky arrive and Eden immediately notices. “Please do not tell me you’re hanging around with this moron,” she says to Ricky. “Um… yeah,” Ricky says shyly. “He knows who the cool kids are,” Kyle comments, “and as long as you keep shackin’ up with ‘Loser Boy Newman,’ it’s not gonna be you.” “’Loser Boy Newman?’” Eden laughs, “How long did it take you to come up with that one, Kyle? You think you’re so cool. Well, I’ve got news for you. You’re not.” “This coming from a girl who lived on a hippie farm until last year,” Kyle says, much to Eden’s surprise, “Yeah – that’s right. I’ve heard things about you.” “It wasn’t a ‘hippie farm.’ It was an ashram,” she corrects him, “There’s a big difference between a commune and an ashram, not that I’d expect you to know that… seeing as you don’t even have a brain in your head.” “Actually, I’m a lot smarter than you think, Hippie Girl,” Kyle tells her. “Clearly not, or else you would have left me alone by now,” Eden replies.

Ricky stands there in awkward silence during their entire exchange. Eden starts to walk away, but turns back to Kyle once more. “By the way, not only are you not cool, but contrary to what you said at the Boutique, I don’t find you ‘hot’ either,” Eden snaps, “In fact, I think you’re the farthest thing from hot… You’re… ‘cold.’ Frigid. 100 below 0. And I think you’re disgusting. And I hate you…” Kyle is amused by all her insults and doesn’t take her seriously. “Denial is not just a river in Africa,” he states, knowing it will push Eden’s buttons even more.

“Don’t talk to her,” Noah orders as he re-enters the Coffee House from the patio, “As a matter of fact, just get out of our faces. Scott’s waiting for you on the patio, so go before I do something I’m gonna regret.” “Try anything, and I’ll put you through that patio door,” Kyle threatens. “Kyle! Just go do your interview!” Eden orders. “Yes, ma’am,” Kyle replies sarcastically. He gives her a salute and heads out to the patio. Ricky still says nothing, and just tries to stay out of it.

Eden turns to Ricky: “Why do you insist on hanging out with him?” she asks.

Scene 16

At the Athletic Club, Lily joins Neil and Alex at their table. “Yes, your Uncle Malcolm and I were engaged at one time,” Alex admits to Lily. “Well, have you seen him?” Lily inquires, “He must have been thrilled when he learned you were back in town.” “Not exactly,” Alex says, “Malcolm still insists on being angry at me over something that didn’t even happen.” “Maybe I can talk to him,” Lily suggests, “and tell him what a mistake he’s making.” “Honey, once your uncle Malcolm makes up his mind, I don’t think he’ll change it for anyone,” Neil comments. “Yeah, that’s very sweet of you to offer, Lily, but I think that train has left the station. A long time ago,” Alex realizes, “Malcolm was right. We may be neighbors [at the Athletic Club], but we’re two different people with two completely separate lives. It would never work between us now.”

Scene 17

After the Restless Style interviews with Kyle and Noah, Scott remains at the patio table for a few moments. He sees the photo of Kevin and Jana Fisher on the wall and walks over to it. He stares at Jana for a few moments before flashing back to the day that he first met Jana at the Newman pool.

“I was thinking, though, you haven’t been here in a few years. I don’t remember being here. Maybe we can re-learn Genoa City together,” Jana had suggested, and it was that suggestion that had led to them spending time together and developing a friendship, and ultimately to Scott developing romantic feelings for Jana.

He’s also reminded of the first night they had gone out together to “explore” Genoa City, although they had ended up right back at the Athletic Club for Gina’s lasagne instead of trying something new. “If this were a date, I’d kiss you good night,” Scott had said when he took Jana back to her apartment, “but then again…” “It’s not a date,” Jana had completed his sentence. “No, definitely not a date,” Scott repeated. “Well, maybe a hug then,” Jana had suddenly suggested. “Yeah, I can do that. Come here,” Scott agreed, pulling her close to him and embracing her.

He then thinks back to what had happened earlier that day, after Jana was told that she wouldn’t be getting her memory back: “Wait. I know what you’re gonna say,” Jana had told him, “I know that you’re Kevin’s friend, and you’re gonna tell me that I should stay with him. That we’re still married, no matter what.” “Well, actually, I…,” Scott had begun to speak, but Jana cut him off. “And you’re right,” she admitted, “I still… I feel like I still owe it to Kevin to try.” Scott had just nodded his head and accepted what Jana had said. But he was clearly disappointed… he was going to tell Jana that he was developing feelings for her.

Still staring at the photo of Jana, Scott mutters to himself, “You had your chance, Scott, and you blew it…”

Scene 18

At the Athletic Club, Lily is leaving Neil and Alex’s table. “So nice meeting you,” she tells Alex. “You too, sweetie,” Alex responds. “I’ll see you later, honey,” Neil says. He gives Lily a kiss on the cheek.

“What a lovely young woman,” Alex comments after Lily has left the table. “Yeah, she’s a great girl. So remarkable and strong,” Neil comments, “I’m so proud of her. She’s gonna be a mother in about a month, you know…” Alex is confused. “She’s not pregnant…,” she states the obvious, “Is she adopting?” “Lily and Cane – that’s her husband – they’re using a surrogate,” Neil explains, “Actually, Lily is just getting over having cancer for a year now. She can’t have any more children of her own.” “Neil, that is so tragic,” Alex says, “But at least she battled through it… and with the surrogate, she’ll get to have her own baby.” “Actually, babies,” Neil corrects her, “Yeah, they’re having twins.” “Well, I’m glad there’s a happy ending for her,” Alex comments, “and actually, hearing about what Lily went through… it makes me examine my own life… seeing as I don’t have any children of my own. I mean, when I was with Malcolm, I thought of Nate as a son, but I’m talking about biological children…”

Neil nods his head. “I know what you mean,” he agrees, “I think about that sometimes myself.” Alex is confused again. “But… Lily?” she mutters. “I love that girl so much and she is my daughter in every way that counts,” Neil explains. “But she’s not yours?” Alex realizes. “Yeah, Malcolm… is biologically….,” he stutters, “Malcolm’s her biological father.” This surprises Alex.

Scene 19

It’s night time now. Scott goes to Fenmore’s Boutique, with the hopes of talking to his mother, Lauren Fenmore Baldwin, about his growing feelings for Jana Hawkes Fisher.

Roxanne hears the front door open. She’s at the cash register, her back facing the door. “I’m just about to close…,” she announces as she turns around, “Scott! Hi…” She notices it’s Lauren’s son. “Hey,” he greets her, “Is my mom here?” “No, she’s not,” Roxanne replies, “She left a long time ago, actually.” “I figured that,” Scott says, “But I just thought I’d check in anyway… Are you here by yourself?” “Yeah… I’m just closing up,” Roxanne answers. “Do you need some help?” Scott asks. “Are you offering?” Roxanne clarifies. “Depends on what you need me to do,” Scott says with a smile. “No underwear modeling this time, I promise,” Roxanne jokes. Scott smirks. “I have to count the register, and fold and tag some new clothes in the back room,” Roxanne answers, “Normally, we’re slow enough that I can do it while we’re still open, but with the sale still going on, I didn’t get a chance.” “I’m up for that,” Scott agrees, “Come on… let’s go in the back…”

Scene 20

Phyllis and Daniel are now at Daniel’s artist studio. Phyllis has just confessed everything to her son, from the first incident with the eel to the car that almost ran her and Nick down to the article about Sasha Green. She left out the fact that Sasha Green was threatening to reveal Daniel’s true paternity right before she died.

“…And when I told all this to Nick, he was furious with me,” Phyllis tells her son, “He accused me of putting Summer in danger… he said he didn’t know me… It was awful… it was bad.” “Just go talk to Nick,” Daniel insists, “Once he’s calmed down, I think you’ll be surprised at how understanding he’ll be.” Phyllis stands up to leave. “Thanks for not asking what I did [in the past],” she says, “I don’t think I could bring myself to say some of the horrible things I’ve done out loud.” “I don’t think we’d have enough time for you to tell me all the horrible things you’ve done,” Daniel jokes. “You make it sound like I’m a monster or something,” Phyllis comments. “No, you’re human,” Daniel replies, “Everyone makes mistakes. Now go see your husband, and I’m sure he’ll tell you he made one when he reacted the way he did.”

Scene 21

Brian returns to his suite at the Genoa City Athletic Club. He slams the door shut and dials a number on his cell phone. He’s clearly upset about something. “So you actually went through with it?” he asks an unknown person, “I can’t believe you! You’re making Phyllis’s life a living hell… and that’s not the way it was supposed to be…”

Scene 22

Back at the Williams Apartment, Paul has just finished packing for his trip. With Ricky and Kyle gone to the Coffee House, Paul makes a phone call. Jack picks up. “Jack Abbott,” he says. “Yeah, Jack… it’s Paul, again,” he begins, “Are we really gonna let our kids play us like fools?”

Scene 23

Ricky follows Kyle back out to the table on the patio of the Coffee House. “She’s such a b****,” Kyle comments about Eden. “She was nice to me,” Ricky defends her, “She showed me around town when I first got here.” They take a seat at the table.

“She’s got Noah whipped,” Kyle states, “I know who wears the pants in that relationship… and speaking of pants, she wants to get in mine so bad it’s not even funny.” “She just called you disgusting and said she hates you,” Ricky remarks. “Of course she’s gonna say that,” Kyle explains, “She doesn’t wanna admit that she could like a bad boy like me. But deep down, she’s like every other girl I’ve ever met… She wants me… bad.” “What about that ‘Sully’ girl?” Ricky asks. “Sully was hot, but let’s be honest,” Kyle begins, “She’s the kind of girl that would sleep with anyone, so it didn’t do much for my ego that she gave it to me within an hour of me meeting her. Let me tell you a secret, Rick: the forbidden fruit is the sweetest… and it is so fitting that her name is Eden.” He gets a big smirk on his face as he stares at Eden through the patio door.

Scene 24

At Fenmore’s Boutique, Roxanne and Scott emerge from the back storage room after folding and tagging the new merchandise. “Well, we finished that earlier than I expected,” Roxanne admits, “You, mister, are an expert at folding clothes. Who knew?” Scott chuckles. “Don’t tell anyone, okay?” he replies, “When you live on your own for as long as I have, you learn how to take care of yourself.” Roxanne glances around the store. “Maybe I should just straighten up some of the displays,” she says. “Is there some reason you’re avoiding leaving the Boutique?” Scott inquires. “I don’t really want to go home,” Roxanne admits. “Why’s that?” Scott follows up. Roxanne sighs. “My boyfriend,” she says softly. “Did you break up?” Scott asks. “No, but last year, he cheated on me and now he’s away in Seattle, staying with the same woman.” “And you’re worried that what happened last year is gonna happen all over again,” Scott deduces. “Wouldn’t you be?” Roxanne asks, “I mean, he knew that I felt this way before he left. What does that say about him? About us? We’ve been together three years and he doesn’t respect my opinion. What’s his level of commitment to me?” Roxanne stops herself. See, that’s why I’m staying here and trying to find little things to occupy me,” she tells Scott, “Because if I don’t, I go home to all Devon’s things and my mind goes to all these places I don’t want it to go to.” “Come here,” Scott says as he reaches over and gives her a hug.

Scene 25

Meanwhile, in Seattle, Devon and Tyra have just finished their lemonade. Tyra sits on the couch beside Devon. “That lemonade was refreshing,” Devon says as he puts his glass down, “but it’s not helping much on a day like this.” Tyra fans herself. “Yeah, the previous owner had the air turned off,” she informs Devon, “I’ll try to get it working later.” “Please do,” Devon begs, “because it is sure hot in here.” “It’s not just you…,” Tyra replies, catching Devon off-guard when she touches his hand. She scoots a little closer.

“Devon, I swear this wasn’t my intention when I invited you over here, but being around you again… I realize how much I still… want you,” she suddenly admits. She leans in to kiss him and their lips touch, but Devon pulls away. “What are you doing?” he asks, an angry tone to his voice. Tyra realizes her mistake. “Devon, I --,” she begins to explain, but Devon doesn’t want to hear it. “Roxy was right. It was a mistake to stay here,” he realizes, and he heads immediately for the front door. “Devon, wait!” Tyra calls out. Devon turns back. “I will always be there for Ana,” he tells her, “But I am done with you.”

Scene 26

Back at the Boutique, Roxanne’s worries still cannot be quieted, despite Scott’s best efforts. “He’s with her right now. I know he is,” Roxanne insists, speaking about Devon and Tyra.

“I just wanna get even,” Roxanne decides. “And how are you gonna do that?” Scott asks. “By giving you the night of your life,” Roxanne answers suggestively. He doesn’t even get a chance to ask what she means before she abruptly pulls him close to her and passionately kisses his lips. Scott’s eyes widen in astonishment as he quickly gets the idea. He stops Roxanne for a moment. “Woah. Are you sure?” he asks her. “I haven’t been more sure of anything lately,” she responds, “Just for tonight… please… don’t let me be alone.” She leans in and kisses him again, this time putting her hands up his shirt. He immediately takes it off, and she starts undoing a few buttons on her top. As they start to remove their clothes, they fall down behind the front counter. The sounds of them kissing again can be heard…
