Scene 1

It’s early afternoon in Genoa City. At the Market Street apartment building, Kevin Fisher and his amnesiac wife Jana Hawkes Fisher are returning to their apartment unit after a short walk outside. “Well, I am glad to see you’re doing better today,” Kevin notices. “Yeah, last night with Scott really helped to clear my head,” Jana says, “He convinced me that I’m not some cold-blooded killer who needs to be locked up,” she informs Kevin. “Good. I knew there was a reason I liked that guy,” Kevin responds, “I owe him one.”

Meanwhile, the Fishers’ Apartment has filled up with friends and family of Kevin and Jana who are waiting for them to return home. Gloria Bardwell speaks to her son Michael Baldwin and daughter-in-law Lauren Fenmore Baldwin about Jana’s condition. “Michael… do you think this will actually work?” Gloria asks, “Do you think that us sharing our memories with Jana will actually help her remember something?” “Well, that’s what we’re here to find out,” Michael replies optimistically. “But it’s possible, right?” Lauren says to Michael, “I mean, it’s possible that something we say could stimulate something in Jana’s unconscious memory and help her to consciously remember it?” “I am not a neurologist,” Michael admits, “but if Kevin wants us to try it, we will try it, even if there’s only a small chance that Jana might remember something.” “Well, she better,” Gloria says, “because this is already killing my Kevin, and I know he’s trying to be strong for Jana, but I don’t think he could take it if she never remembered him…”

Across the room, Daniel Romalotti, Jr. catches up with his estranged wife Amber Moore Romalotti, who flew in from California in order to be there for Jana. “I wasn’t… expecting you to be here,” Daniel lets her know. “Yeah, well, Kevin called me,” Amber answers, “Jana is still my best friend. I feel horrible about what happened to her, and I wanna help, if I can.”

Scene 2

At the Fisher’s Apartment, Jana is stunned to see Gloria, Michael, Lauren, Daniel, and Amber waiting in the living room. Kevin had arranged it. “What is this? Some kind of surprise party?” Jana asks, “For a second there, I thought I had forgotten my own birthday. Which is the kind of thing that I would do these days…” “You still have a sense of humor. That’s good,” Kevin says. Jana pulls Kevin off to the side.

“Seriously, what are all of these people doing here?” Jana asks Kevin quietly. “I called them,” Kevin tells her, “You remember when you told me that you wanted to do more to get your memory back?” “Yeah,” Jana replies, somewhat hesitant, “We’ve been going through photo albums every night.” “It’s not enough,” Kevin tells her, “All these people I invited here, we are the people who know you best. And we are gonna narrate the past four years of your life for you, so that you remember the experiences we’ve shared together and you know how much we all love you and care about you and want you to come back to us.”

“Right now?” Jana asks. “No, next week,” Kevin says sarcastically, “Yes, of course right now! …Are you okay with that?” “Well, I wish you would have given me warning,” Jana says, “I feel a little bit… ambushed.” “That was not my intention, Jana. I swear… Look, we’ll take it slow. One memory at a time,” Kevin tries to persuade her, “If you wanna stop at any point, we’ll stop.” “Maybe… we shouldn’t pressure her, Kevin,” Lauren says gently, “If she’s not up for it…” “No, no, I am up for it,” Jana replies, cutting her off, “I was just surprised. That’s all.”

“Here, take a seat over there,” Kevin directs her to a chair in the living room, “I’ll take a seat here. Okay. Now, are you ready to hear all about your life in Genoa City?”

Scene 3

At the Fisher’s Apartment, Kevin, Gloria, Michael, Lauren, Daniel, and Amber are preparing to refresh Jana’s memory on her time in Genoa City. “What about my life before Genoa City?” Jana wonders. “I don’t know that much about it, to be honest,” Kevin admits, “You didn’t like to talk about it, and when you did, you would just mention little things here and there that you had done. Or places you’d seen.” “Well, why don’t you tell her a couple?” Michael suggests, “See if anything sounds familiar.” Kevin nods.

“Okay, let’s see… Well, when we first met, you told me that you used to live in Rome. You majored in art history in college and you used to work at an art gallery,” Kevin informs her, “You were… a professional fundraiser at some point… Oh, and you’re a certified skydiving instructor, you know…” ”That’s strange,” Jana comments, “I think… I’m very afraid of heights.” “The doctor at Memorial said there may be minor personality differences for a while,” Gloria recalls. “Actually, that’s not a difference,” Kevin reveals, “You’ve always been afraid of heights. You just never let your fears interfere with living your life and having fun.”

Scene 4

Kevin continues to think of details about Jana’s life before coming to Genoa City. Gloria, Michael, Lauren, Daniel, and Amber listen intently. “What else do I know about your life before Genoa City?” Kevin thinks aloud. “When you were babysitting Fen, you told me once that you were an au pair in Europe… I think that’s why you were so good with him,” Lauren offers, “You just love babies.” “I still do,” Jana admits, before turning to Kevin, “Did we ever talk about having our own?” “Nothing too serious. We were happy together… just the two of us,” Kevin answers, “For right now anyway.” Daniel and Amber exchange glances with one another when the topic of children is brought up. “Well, I, for one, would love to be a grandmother again,” Gloria informs the others, “As much as I love Fen, we need another girl in the family. You know, I always wanted a daughter.” “Well, keep dreaming, Mom,” Kevin tells her.

“Gloria, this is not the time for you to share your hopes and dreams,” Michael jumps in, “This is about Jana, not you.” “Of course it is,” Gloria agrees, “Sorry… Continue, Kevin.” “Anyway, so when you came to the States, you were in Chicago for a while… until some loser dumped you. Then you wound up in Racine and took a job as a morgue photographer.” “Really?” Amber reacts, surprised, “I didn’t know that. “Yeah, even I’m learning new things about you,” Daniel agrees. “You lived in a camper, and rode a scooter. And you moved from place to place,” Kevin continues, “Eventually, you wound up in Genoa City and applied for a job at the Coffee House. Which was the day that my life changed forever…”

“I still remember the first time I saw you there. I thought, wow, this girl is really hot,” Kevin recalls. “That was actually my first reaction too,” Daniel adds, a big grin on his face. “Hey!” Kevin says jokingly, “No one gets to think that about my wife but me.”

Scene 5

Kevin begins to tell Jana about their first date while Gloria, Michael, Lauren, Daniel, and Amber listen in. “Okay, so anyway, I thought you were smokin’ hot, and I wanted to go out with you, so I finally found the courage to ask you out,” Kevin explains, “I couldn’t believe it when you actually said yes. But then you canceled our first date cause you had to help someone move into a new flat. I didn’t believe you. I thought you were blowing me off. But you brought me the moving company receipt as proof that you weren’t standing me up.” “I would never have stood you up,” Jana assures him.

“So anyway, we finally rescheduled. Do you remember where we went for our actual, official first date?” Kevin asks. Jana shakes her head. “No,” she replies. “Athletic Club…,” Kevin prompts her, “Ring a bell?” “We had dinner at the Athletic Club,” Jana guesses, “Gina’s lasagna that I love so much?” “No,” “Basketball.” “Basketball?” Jana reacts, “I don’t fancy myself to be the athletic type.” “Believe me, you weren’t,” Kevin laughs.

Kevin flashes back to his first date with Jana. He took her out to the basketball court. “Okay, well, you're going to think this is daft. I've actually never played basketball before,” Jana had admitted, “You see, it's -- it's not really the thing in England that it is here.” “Well, that's good. No bad habits I'll have to erase,” Kevin had responded. “Oh, so I suppose I'm in your capable hands?” Jana had joked, to which Kevin had replied: “Actually, the ball is. You see, now this-- this is called dribbling.” He had demonstrated the technique to her. “See how I'm using my fingertips?” he asked as she watched, “You don't wanna use your palm like this, because that way you have no control.” “So I see,” Jana had said. “You try,” Kevin had suggested, handing Jana the basketball. She had attempted to dribble the ball. “Okay. All right, how's that?” she asked. “Fingertips! Good! Good! That's excellent, Jana,” Kevin had complimented her. “Really?” Jana had been surprised. “Yeah. Okay, now... now you wanna drive to the hoop,” Kevin had instructed, “Okay, and lay one in.”

“Sounds… exciting, I guess,” Jana says, sounding distant, “Atypical, but that’s what I like, as I understand it.” “But that wasn’t even our most atypical date,” Kevin teases her, “Wait ‘til you hear about our next one.”

Scene 6

At the Fishers’ Apartment, Kevin continues to tell Jana details of her life while Gloria, Michael, Lauren, Daniel, and Amber listen in. “No, no, we did something that I like on our first date. So you got to pick next,” Kevin explains, “And let me tell you, what you picked was absolutely terrifying but worth every second.”

Kevin flashes back to the night of their second date. They had returned to the Coffee House after deciding to climb a water tower. “God, if you could have seen your face when you were halfway up that tower!” Jana had exclaimed. “Oh, yeah, yeah, that was a scream,” Kevin had replied, “Oh, no, wait. That was me screaming. Did I mention that I was afraid of heights?” “Yeah, I think you did maybe about a hundred times,” Jana had joked. “What ever gave you the idea that climbing a water tower would be fun?” Kevin had asked. “Oh, we used to do it for kicks back home,” Jana told him. “I thought I was gonna die!” Kevin had admitted. Then Jana had confided something too: “Well, I'll tell you a secret, okay?” she began, “I'm afraid of heights, too.” Kevin didn’t believe her. “Really?” he had replied. “Mmhmm,” Jana had confirmed. “Then why the hell would you climb up there?” Kevin had asked. “For the challenge!” Jana responded. “Thrill-seeker,” Kevin had called her. “Well, aren't you?” Jana had inquired. “Maybe sometimes,” Kevin admitted. “Oh, come on, tell the truth,” Jana had teased, “Wasn't it fun?” “Oh, yeah, yeah, terror's my favorite,” Kevin had replied sarcastically. “Yeah, but on the other hand...,” Jana had begun. “On the other hand, it certainly beats staying at home,” Kevin completed her thought.

“You always brought fun and unpredictability into my life,” Kevin tells Jana, “No one else could have ever gotten me to climb a water tower. But when I’m with you, you make me feel like anything is possible. Like I can do anything.”

Scene 7

Now, Gloria offers Jana her thoughts and memories while Kevin, Michael, Lauren, Daniel, and Amber listen in. “You always came through for me too,” Gloria says, “You gave me a makeover when I wanted to start dating again after my husband’s death; you helped Kevin… and me… when we were being blackmailed by that thug… What was his name again, Kevin?” “Alex,” Kevin replies. “I never want to think about that guy again,” Daniel says. “If you’re gonna mention all the times you’ve needed someone to bail you out of a jam, we’ll be here until next year,” Michael interrupts. Gloria takes a deep breath. “The point is that you came to love my son despite his faults and his past, and you embraced his family too,” Gloria tells Jana. “His extremely crazy, insane family,” Kevin adds. “Stop it, Angel!” Gloria says jokingly, before turning back to Jana, “Now, my son hadn’t been treated well by women until he met you. So I mean this, very much, when I say to you, Jana, that Kevin is so lucky to have you in his life.”

Scene 8

Kevin continues to tell Jana details of her life while Gloria, Michael, Lauren, Daniel, and Amber listen in. “Okay, everybody plug your ears for this next part,” Kevin warns. “This next one is personal?” Jana guesses. “Yeah, really personal,” Kevin clarifies.

Kevin flashes back to the first night that they made love. They were alone together at the Coffee House. “Ahem. Were you flirting with that guy?” Kevin had asked Jana about Adrian Korbel. “No,” Jana had denied it. “Are you sure?” Kevin didn’t believe her, “Because I know flirting when I see it.” “Why would I flirt with him when I've got the world's greatest guy right here in front of me?” Jana had responded. “That's a good answer,” Kevin had replied, nearly speechless. “Wait,” Jana had told him before she proceeded to the front door of the Coffee House. She had locked the door and put the Closed sign up, and then walked back over to Kevin. They started kissing and removing each others’ clothes right at the counter…

“On the Coffee House counter! No way!” Amber exclaims. “Yeah, gross. People eat off that counter,” Daniel points out. “Remind me never to do that again,” Michael chimes in, with a disgusted look on his face. “I understand what it’s like, though, to get so caught up in the moment that you don’t care where you are,” Amber tells the others, before turning to Daniel, “How many times did we do it at Restless Style when we were there working late?” “I am so glad Phyllis left,” Michael says, still looking uncomfortable.

“That wasn’t even the best part,” Kevin continues. “It gets better?” Michael asks, almost afraid to hear the answer. “Yeah, a few days earlier, I had just gotten a new security system installed at the Coffee House,” Kevin explains. Lauren and Michael exchange glances. “Don’t tell me,” Amber jumps in, able to infer what Kevin’s about to say. “That’s right,” Kevin confirms, “Our very own Paris Hilton moment.” “Who’s Paris Hilton?” Jana asks, slightly confused. “You don’t even wanna know,” Amber tells her. “So, the cameras…?” Jana begins. “Yeah, they caught the whole thing,” Kevin admits, “But don’t worry ‘cause we erased it… after we watched it back a few times… and added some special effects…”

“Okay, alright! That’s enough,” Gloria shouts, “I know that you are grown and married, but a mother never wants to hear about her baby like that. So, next memory.” “And something more PG this time, please,” Daniel jokes. “Do you want me to keep going?” Kevin asks Jana, “Are you too overwhelmed? ‘Cause if you are…” “No, it’s fine. I mean, I’m fine,” Jana insists, “Please… you can keep going.”

Scene 9

At the Fishers’ Apartment, Kevin continues to tell Jana details of her life while Gloria, Michael, Lauren, Daniel, and Amber listen in. “Okay, then we moved in together,” Kevin begins his next memory, “I remember it like it was yesterday. It was the beginning of December…You wanted to convert this microbrewery into a loft,” Kevin continues, “That was just like you. To take some run-down place and refurbish it to something great, give it its own unique character. You always liked things a little different. But we had to accept that it would take too long and cost too much… And then we found this place, just five floors down from Michael. And we knew it was the perfect place for us to build our lives together. We knew it was home…”

Kevin flashes back to his first day with Jana in their apartment. “I have never met a man with so much stuff,” Jana had said as Kevin brought boxes into the living. “I'm sorry. I can't seem to part with anything,” Kevin had admitted. “When I was 16 I traveled with everything I ever owned in my knapsack,” Jana had told him, to which Kevin had replied, “A low maintenance girlfriend--I like that.” “Well, you're high maintenance for both of us,” Jana had teased, “Just joking, Love,” Jana said. “Um... are you, are you nervous?” Kevin had asked. “About what?” Jana replied. “Well, I mean, you're-- you're the first woman I've ever lived with,” Kevin had told her. “Good. I say you get them young and train them right,” Jana had teased. “I'm serious. I mean, it's just... it's a really big step,” Kevin had realized, “Are you sure you're ready?” “Are you?” Jana asked back. Kevin nodded. “Yeah. Yeah, yeah, I am so ready,” he had said, “Come here.” They hugged each other.

“We certainly do have a nice home here,” Jana says. “It doesn’t feel like home to you, though, does it?” Lauren asks her, able to read Jana’s mood. “No… I mean, not really,” Jana confesses, “I’ve seen pictures of me living here. In my mind, I understand that this is my home, but it still, it feels like I’m visiting. I have no more attachment to this place than I would your house or a hotel room.”

Scene 10

Now it’s Amber’s turn. Kevin, Gloria, Michael, Lauren, and Daniel listen in while she shares her first memory of Jana. “Remember when we first met?” Amber asks abruptly, changing the subject, “It was right after you two moved in together. You were celebrating with Michael and Lauren, and Gloria was there. I showed up to visit Lauren. And Gloria told us she was gonna be a judge on Extreme Catwalk!”

Amber flashes back to that night at the Baldwins’ Apartment. “Oh, my God, that--that is the best show. I never miss an episode!” Amber had exclaimed when Gloria mentioned Extreme Catwalk. “Neither do I, if I can help it,” Jana had echoed. “Oh, uh, Amber, this is Jana Hawkes, Kevin's girlfriend,” Lauren had said, introducing them. “Hi. How do you do?” Jana responded. “I'm good,” Amber had replied, “Um, hey, did you see the one last season where they were sending that one contestant home and she started cursing like crazy?” “Oh, my God, they had to keep bleeping everything out!” Jane exclaimed, “I laughed so hard. It was like something out of Jerry Springer.” “Or what about the one where the contestant-- she wasn't paying attention to what she was doing and the one model-- she had the models with, like, the thing on backwards?” Amber had continued. “Yeah, right! The backless dress turned round front?” Jana had recalled, “Oh, God, talk about low cut.” “I know! It was too funny!” Amber had laughed. “Oh, the judges didn't think so,” Jana commented. “Ladies? It sounds like you two are real experts on this show,” Gloria had pointed out, “Maybe you can, uh, give me some pointers.” “You bet I will,” Jana had agreed.

“I knew, from that day, that we would become great friends,” Amber tells Jana. “And we did, didn’t we?” Jana replies, “I mean, I saw you in our wedding photos.” “Ooh, I can’t wait ‘til we get to your wedding!” Amber says, excitedly.

“Well, before that, unfortunately there’s some less pleasant memories that you need to be reminded of,” Kevin interrupts. “The brain tumor, right?” Jana asks, “This is when I kill Carmen, isn’t it?” “Well, actually that happened a little before this,” Kevin tells her, “Today is all about sharing things with you that we have direct memories of. I don’t know exactly what happened that night. Only you and Carmen do. And she can’t tell us.” “And I don’t remember,” Jana states the obvious, “But I looked up her name, Carmen’s name, on the Internet. I read over all the articles I could find. She was a beautiful, intelligent, successful woman and I took all of that away from her.” “Jana, the point of today is not to depress you all over again,” Kevin reminds her, “It’s to help you out.” “I know that,” Jana nods, “but still, I can’t help but think of what an awful thing I did.”

“Let’s just get through some of these bad memories, okay? And then I promise you, there are some better memories ahead,” Kevin assures her. “Okay,” Jana agrees, “Keep going.” “Well, by this time, no one knew that you had killed Carmen. But one thing I knew for sure… I had fallen for you,” Kevin tells her, “I was so in love with you, Jana, and then my world came crashing down. You went missing, and the police, they found your jacket out by the lake, along with a pile of blood. Your blood.”

Scene 11

At the Fishers’ Apartment, Kevin continues to tell Jana details of her life while Gloria, Michael, Lauren, Daniel, and Amber listen in. “I didn’t want to give up on you, but everyone was telling me that you were gone,” Kevin explains, “That’s why it shocked the hell out of me when one day, you just showed up out of nowhere in my car.”

Kevin flashes back to the night when he was in his car, and Jana had abruptly hopped in to the passenger side after being missing for months. “I was so afraid that I’d never see you again,” Jana had told Kevin. “Is it really you?” he had asked, in disbelief. They embraced. “Yes, it’s me, Kevin,” Jana had said. “What happened? What happened? I was going out of my mind. Jana, the police found so much blood,” Kevin had informed her, “How, how are you even alive?” “Listen, I’m in a lot of trouble, okay?” Jana had replied. “Okay, okay, let’s call the police,” Kevin had said, trying to remain calm. Jana had refused: “No, they’ll only make things worse,” she had said, “Listen I don’t have time to explain right now, but you have to come and see for yourself. Please, if you love me, you’ll come with me.”

“I followed you to a fridge,” Kevin continues, “Colleen was in there already. You had kidnapped her.” “Who’s Colleen?” Jana asks, “and why isn’t she here?” “Colleen Carlton,” Kevin responds, “She was a friend of ours but um…” “She died,” Daniel finishes his sentence. Jana is horrified again. “Not because of…?” she begins. “No, not because of you,” Kevin answers, “Because of another woman who has… issues…” For a moment, Gloria has an uneasy look on her face.

“Anyway, when Colleen and I were in the fridge, you confessed to saving your own blood and faking a crime scene,” Kevin informs her, “You were going to kill Colleen and frame me for it. By locking her in the freezer and setting it on fire.” “Why would I do such a thing?” Jana asks softly, afraid to hear the rest. “Remember I told you about the piece of art that your father wanted?” Kevin reminds her, “The inscription on the artefact, it led to a secret treasure. It was worth billions of dollars. That’s why you did it. For money. You tased me. You locked us in the fridge so you could burn the building down and make it look like I did it and trapped myself inside. Then you disappeared.” “How awful,” Jana comments, not sure what else to say. “There’s more,” Kevin warns her, “This next part won’t be easy for you.” “But I have to hear it,” Jana insists, “Please don’t stop now. I have to know all the horrible things I’ve done so that I can make amends for them.”

Scene 12

Kevin begins to tell Jana about her return to Genoa City after being on the run. Gloria, Michael, Lauren, Daniel, and Amber listen intently. “So luckily, Colleen and I survived the fire, and she was able to clear my name… After a while, you started calling me again,” Kevin explains, “You kept saying how sorry you were, that you wanted a second chance.” “Well, of course, I was sorry. I would have never intentionally hurt you,” Jana insists. “I know that now,” Kevin says, “But at the time, I didn’t believe you… So, that summer, I totalled my car, injured myself, and made sure you saw the article about my accident in the newspaper,” he explains, “I lured you back to Genoa City, to a warehouse.” “For what?” Jana asks, hesitantly. “To pay you back,” Kevin answers, “for what you tried to do to me…”

Kevin flashes back to that night in the abandoned warehouse when he had come face-to-face with Jana for the first time since she had tried to kill him and Colleen. “Do you really want us all to go to jail and over what? Over revenge?” Daniel had shouted. “Sweet revenge,” Kevin had clarified. “Yeah, well, you're gonna ruin our lives and yours,” Daniel had told him. “Actually, life is pretty good right now,” Kevin had said, “I've got Jana here with me. And after I put a bullet in her, it'll almost settle the score. Almost…”

Jana gulps. “You were going to kill me?” she says, in disbelief. “I was angry. I felt betrayed,” Kevin defends himself, “You tried to kill me first… But Colleen, and Daniel, and Michael…” “We talked him out of it,” Daniel finishes Kevin’s sentence. “Then you had a seizure at the warehouse. I thought for sure you were faking it. But the police, they took you to the hospital and they found out you had a brain tumor.”

Scene 13

At the Fishers’ Apartment, Kevin continues to tell Jana details of her life while Gloria, Michael, Lauren, Daniel, and Amber listen in. “I had been so convinced that you were faking everything, the seizures, the tumor, everything,” Kevin tells Jana, “but when the doctor said that you needed immediate surgery, it just became so real to me. The possibility of losing you, I just couldn’t deal with it. I knew I had to do everything in my power to fight for you.”

Kevin flashes back to that day at Memorial Hospital when the doctor had told them that Jana required surgery. “When can you operate?” he had asked the doctor. “Well, based on Jana's last M.R.I...,” the doctor had begun, trying to find the right words. “What...?” Jana had whispered, almost afraid to hear the answer, “What is it?” The doctor sighed. “Some tumors grow rapidly,” he had told them. “My tumor?” Jana had asked. “It may have invaded a critical area of the brain,” the doctor said. “‘May have’?” Kevin had repeated, “What -- what are you saying, you don't know?” “It's a typical difficulty with brain malignancies,” the doctor had informed them, “Now we suspect an ependymoma. That could account for your seizures and other difficulties. But we can't be sure until we're in and the pathologists do their work.”

Back in the present, Kevin continues to tell Jana about her operation. “I went in with you during the surgery,” he says, “I held your hand while you were awake… you said that was the only way you could get through it was if I was there too.” “And Colleen and I, we were waiting right outside for you,” Gloria chimes in. “My mother… paid for the surgery,” Kevin tells Jana. “It wasn’t an easy thing to do,” Gloria admits, “I wasn’t completely convinced at the time that it was the tumor that had made you act the way you did. But I knew how important you were to my son, so I agreed. “I’m very grateful for what you did, Gloria,” Jana offers her thanks. “That’s what a mother does for her son,” Gloria replies. “Yes, even Gloria has her moments,” Michael jokes.

Scene 14

While Gloria, Michael, Lauren, Daniel, and Amber listen in, Kevin tells Jana how relieved he was when the tumor was gone. “I will never forget how happy I was when the doctor told us the surgery was a success,” Kevin informs her. He flashes back to that moment. “According to your most recent MRI, we excised 99% of your craniopharyngioma,” the doctor had informed Jana. “And what about the part that's left?” Kevin had inquired. “Uh, let's see... say this is your brain. Your tumor was here, near the frontal lobe,” the doctor pointed out to Kevin and Jana, “Now it's very difficult to remove tumor tissue from this area without damaging the brain itself. But you're a fortunate young woman. I'm pleased with the result.” “Does this mean that she's back to normal?” Kevin had questioned the doctor. “Well, the observational data -- motor skills, speech, interactional skills -- are all normal,” the doctor had answered. “You hear that? Normal!” Kevin had exclaimed. “Um, so, um, what about that part that's left? I mean, could it grow back?” Jana had asked, clearing her throat. “Well, there's a slim chance, yes,” the doctor had told her, “But we know what to watch for, and benign tumors like yours are far less likely to recur than malignancies. I think you're good for the foreseeable future.”

“What a relief that was for all of us,” Gloria states, somewhat embellishing the truth. “Yeah… But just when I thought that things would finally be okay for us, you were still worried that the tumor would come back, so you kept pushing me away,” Kevin recalls, “You wouldn’t talk to me; you wouldn’t let me visit you. In fact, you, um, you volunteered to be transferred to the state penitentiary…” “What?” Jana reacts, “You’re telling me that… I actually let myself go to prison?”

Next Time on The Young and The Restless

Paul Williams and his daughter Heather Stevens are talking in an unfinished bedroom in Paul’s apartment. “You don’t talk about him that much,” Heather notices, “I’ve learned to stop asking questions… But I have to say, now you’ve got me wondering why that is.” “That’s a long story, but to sum it up in one word, the reason has to do with Ricky’s mother… Isabella.”

At the Newman Tack House, Nicholas Newman waits for his wife Phyllis Summers Newman to come home. The front door swings open and Phyllis rushes inside. “I got here as soon as I could,” she announces, “Did you talk to Summer? What did she say?” “Yeah, I talked to her about what happened,” Nick updates her, “and you’re not gonna believe what she had to say…”

At the Fishers’ Apartment, Kevin Fisher continues to tell his amnesiac wife Jana Hawkes Fisher details of her life while Gloria Bardwell, Michael Baldwin, Lauren Fenmore Baldwin, Daniel Romalotti, and Amber Moore Romalotti listen in. “I think it’s time that I tell you what led to your aneurysm,” Kevin announces.
